The Tortoise newsroom has rarely been as packed as it was last Tuesday, when over a hundred members and guests joined us at a special ThinkIn with Simon Sinek, the business guru and deliverer of the third most popular TED talk of all time. His theme was KPIs, or Key Performance Indicators, and how they have killed corporate culture. His proposed solution was multistranded, although it boiled down to a simple message: people over metrics.
For those who couldn’t join the throng – or even for those who could and would like to listen again – we’ve pasted an abridged audio version of the discussion above. Just press play.
