For years, online shopping was the great threat to the High Street, and a somewhat guilty pleasure for many of us. During the crisis, it’s become a lifeline. Once we’re all allowed out again, will real bricks-and-mortar shops have a renaissance? Or will home delivery become the de-facto mode for all retailers, regardless of size and specialism? Where are the innovation opportunities – in supply chain, logistics, payments and brand experience – to capitalise on this new retail reality in the medium and long term?

Eleanor Herrin, CEO of sustainable online grocer, Farmdrop. Eleanor has two decades worth of experience in e-commerce and logistics as the Head of Finance in various roles at Amazon, including Amazon Fresh Worldwide, International Amazon Logistics, and UK Transportation and Supply Chain. More recently, Eleanor was head of Strategic Finance at Alphabet-backed Medical startup Clover Health. Eleanor is passionate about building a more sustainable food industry and joined Farmdrop to expand the market size for sustainable farmers.

Laurent Guillemain, CEO of HelloFresh UK, the global leading subscription meal kit company. He joined HelloFresh in January 2019 and prior to this, he successfully built a career at the Boston Consulting Group.
